FRLC Board Meeting Minutes

No meeting in May, three members present this month.

The minutes of the April meeting and May Treasurer’s report were  approved.

The Coordinator’s report covered most of the old and new business. The noon meetings have been good and well attended. Only 2 people are registered on the cruise so far. Ed plans to send out more publicity. Ed’s church will be having an intern in the fall and will be launching a monthly recovery meeting for lay people in the fall. Ed is working on the Annual Report for non-profit status in Illinois, which the board member in charge of that forwarded to him. The recent newsletter generated enough income to pay for the newsletter mailling. We discussed getting another issue out soon. All of the various editors (past and present) find the layout to be the easy part and gathering content to be the challenge.

 A board member volunteered to work on the Facebook page, possibly linking to the cruise information on the website. The 2015 Cruise information is on the “lastest news” not the front page. Melanie will attempt to change this or ask for help doing so.

Our schedule is changed for next month to accomodate our Coordinator’s travel. The next meeting will be on July 8, 2:00 pm MDT/3 pm CDT/1:00 pm PDT/4:00 pm EDT
